To qualify for housing, the total household income must fall within the following limits based on household size. Income eligibility is based on the percentage of AMI for Los Angeles:

Gross annual household income must be 2.5 times the rent and must be verified to be at or below the maximum guideline based upon the current area median income (AMI).
Household income includes all sources of income, such as wages, benefits, and other financial assets.
Applicants must provide documentation verifying their income to determine eligibility.
Background and Rental History
A criminal background check and rental history review will be conducted.
Negative rental history, such as prior evictions or outstanding balances to landlords, may affect eligibility.
Program Compliance
Applicants must comply with LAHD and CTCAC guidelines and provide all necessary documents for income and household composition verification.
Tenants are required to recertify on an annual basis to confirm the household’s eligibility.
